I had the opportunity to get my hands on these Fabulous Headbands – lucky me! My favorite style from the line would have to be the Tie On Headbands. Like many Women I love to keep my Hair in order, and that can be extremely difficult because I am always on the move! In the past I have worn many Headbands that were of subpar quality, with the thread unraveling after one wear! (ahh so annoying). These Headbands would always slip off of my Head and never hold my Hair in place! However, when I tried Stylish Mode Tie On Headbands, I found that my Hair stayed in place. After 10+ hours of running around New York City, my Headband never slipped off! I am extremely impressed with the quality of these Headbands, made of 100% cotton. Most importantly, the thread on these Headbands does not unravel which reveals the true quality of their craftsmanship. Vintage Shopping Tips For The Fashionista!
Vintage Shop’s have what you need to upgrade your style! I love Vintage Shopping because I get unique pieces and save money! The entire process can be a long drawn out experience but I’ve learned that vintage shopping can be fun and very rewarding! Check out my tips for getting the most out of your trip!
1) Do Your Research: Location is Key!
You would be surprised how much Google can help in finding the best Vintage Shops! Location is everything when shopping vintage- try to ocate the nearest vintage, resale, thrift or consignment stores in those surrounding zip codes.
2) Be A Clothes-Digger!:
Search every nook and cranny of the store. People tend to hide pieces they want in furniture section or in the men’s department. When you shop you must take your time and keep your eyes wide open
3) Inspection of Garments:
Inspect your garments before you buy as if your life depended on it. We can all get caught up in finding an amazing piece and thinking it’s a steal and then getting home just to realize the piece is damaged. Check the lining of the garment/ hemlines, look for stains orr missing stones or buttons.
4) Clean your Garments:
Lets face it as cute as that dress or blouse is you don’t know where it’s been! Garments that are purchased from Vintage Shops should be left in Plastic bags for 48 hours. The reason, critters (ewww) living on your garment it will die after being in plastic for 2 days, better safe then sorry guys! After the 48 hours is up wash your clothes and dry at the highest temperature and viola your all set!
5) Rock Your Pieces With Confidence:
Whether it was $999 or $0.99 it is yours! wear your garments with confidence, never think that because it was a bargain that it will not look good! wear everything with confidence and look Fabulous! The World is Yours!
Summer Time Cocktail Party Favorites: Mixed Fruit Mojitos
Summer Time is Here! What better way to relax then with Family and Friends! I love hosting Cocktail parties in the summertime. I love taking the time to catch up with loved ones and enjoying a fruity drink! This past week I hosted a Cocktail party and made my favorite drink. Mixed Fruit Mojitos! Everyone had a great time! I have included my recipe here for you all! Enjoy and most importantly Drink Responsibly!
Ingredients
- 10 fresh mint (leaves)
- 12 lime (cut into 4 wedges)
- 2 tbsps white sugar (taste)
- 1 cup ice (cubes)
- 1 12 ozs white rum
- Fresh Fruits
- 12 cup club soda
Directions
- Place mint leaves and 1 lime wedge into a sturdy glass.
- Use a muddler to crush the mint and lime to release the mint oils and lime juice.
- Add 2 more lime wedges and the sugar, and muddle again to release the lime juice. Do not strain the mixture.
- Add Fruits
- Fill the glass almost to the top with ice.
- Pour the rum over the ice, and fill the glass with carbonated water.
- Stir, taste, and add more sugar if desired.
- Garnish with the remaining lime wedge

Hey Guys I’m back with another FAB hair review! This time around I had the opportunity to review PARNEVU!
PARNEVU haircare products are categorized under two collections: T-Tree and Extra Dry. Today I will be reviewing products from both collections. The products I will be reviewing are
- Parnevu Hair Mayonnaise ( For Damaged Hair)
- Parnevu Leave in Conditioner ( For Extra dry hair)
- Parnevu T-Tree Herbal Grow
As most of you know, my hair is natural. I haven’t had a relaxer in my hair for 3 years, which often times leads me to be very picky when it comes to hair products as my hair doesn’t take well to product change. However, my experience with Parnevu made things worth while! Check out my experiences below!
Parnevu Hair Mayonnaise
PARNEVU Hair Mayonnaise provides intense rejuvenating therapy specially formulated for weak, damaged or over processed hair. Enriched with olive oil, egg protein and herbs to promote healthy hair and scalp. It works from within the hair shaft to help strength fragile roots, mend split ends, and moisturize dry brittle hair.
Directions for Use: Daily Use
Rub a small amount between palms and spread evenly through hair from roots to ends.
Before I do anything, I separate the hair into 4 even sections. It makes the detangling process so much easier and it assures that I get the product evenly all around the hair.
Can Also Deep Conditioning Treatment –
After shampooing, towel dry hair and massage a generous amount into hair, covering from roots to ends.
Cover hair with a plastic cap or a hot moist towel and leave in hair for 10 minutes.
Rinse hair thoroughly with warm water and style as desired.
This Hair Mayonnaise contains a lot of protein, immediately after I rinsed it out my hair felt stronger and a lot smoother. After this I used the Leave in conditioner.
Parnevu Leave in Conditioner (Normal Hair)
PARNEVU Extra Dry Leave-In Conditioner for Normal Hair (also available for Extra Dry Hair) is formulated to prevent split ends, hair breakage, dry scalp, and brittleness. It repairs, conditions, and leaves hair healthy, vibrant, and strong. When used daily, it helps bring your hair back to its natural balance. This leave-in treatment is a light, easily absorbed formula that is an excellent daily treatment for relaxed, permed, tinted, dyed, and chemically-treated hair. Use after every shampoo for continuing protection against split ends or dry, brittle hair.
Directions for Use: Daily Conditioner
Apply a small amount to the palms of your hands.
Rub hands together and massage into hair.
Style as usual.
Can Also be used as a Leave-In Treatment. I used this as a leave in Treatment and it left my curls very soft and manageable!
Apply a generous amount to the palms of your hands.
Massage thoroughly into the hair and scalp, penetrating the shaft and ends.
Leave in to style or dry as usual.
Parnevu T-Tree Herbal Grow
PARNEVU T-Tree Herbal Grow is uniquely formulated to stimulate healthy growth while treating dandruff and eliminating flaky, dry, and itchy scalp.
Directions for Use:
Massage a generous amount into scalp daily.
Comb through gently from roots to ends.
Re-apply to dry, damaged hair and scalp as needed.
Excellent for natural, relaxed, pressed, curled, or color-treated hair.
