Beauty Review: Dax Roots Haircare Collection

I’m back with another product review guys  and I’m letting my hair down! This one is courtesy of DAX. They sent me their complete Roots Hair Care Collection.

I was quite impressed with DAX’S new Roots Collection.What I love most about this Collection is that it is affordable! It is also Petrolatum and Mineral Oil FREE! Lets take a look at my fav products:

ROOTS Hair Mayonnaise

ROOTS Hair Mayonnaise

DAX ROOTS Hair Mayonnaise is a deep conditioning treatment, rich in nutrients to help strengthen hair and reduce breakage. Breakage is something we should all try to avoid! I tried this Hair Mayonnaise and was satisfied with the results. The Mayonnaise left my hair soft and easy to comb. Check out the pics below of my experience with this product:

Usage Instructions:

  • For use as a regular conditioner: After shampooing, apply DAX Hair Mayonnaise generously, massage into scalp and comb through hair. Leave on hair for 3 minutes. Rinse hair with cool water to seal cuticle and style as usual.
  • For use as a deep conditioning hair mask: Shampoo and condition as usual. Apply DAX Hair Mayonnaise generously, massage into scalp and comb through hair. Cover head with a damp, warm towel or plastic cap for 15 minutes. Rinse hair with cool water to seal cuticle and style as usual. For best results use at least once weekly as a hair mask.

  • Color treated hair
  • For all hair lengths and textures

DAX ROOTS Bergamot Butter is a great moisturizer and treatment for your hair. It adds  shine and helps reduce breakage. If you have extremely dry hair this just may be the product for you. I used My Bergamot Butter after I deep conditioned my hair with Dax’s Roots Hair Mayonnaise. The Bergamot Butter is great for Styling! Just dap some on and style!

The Bergamot Butter is easy to apply and Great For Styling!

Usage Instructions:

  • For use as a hair and scalp treatment: Apply a small amount to scalp and hair. Massage and style as usual.
  • For use as a styling aid: Apply a small amount to towel dry hair. Start at ends and work up. Scrunch for curls or style as usual. For added shine and frizz control, apply directly to dry hair.

Hair Type:

  • Unruly, frizzy hair
  • Dry, dull hair
  • Flaky scalp

DAX ROOTS Jojoba Oil is formulated with a vegetable oil base that, that absorbs into the hair to help add moisture Jojoba Oil adds shine and moisture without leaving it greasy. The Jojoba oil was by far one of my favorite products from the line, One dap of this in my hair and my dryness disappeared! My hair was and ready to go!

Usage Instructions:

  • Apply desired amount and rub between palms. Massage into scalp concentrating on ends. Comb through hair to distribute evenly. Style as usual.

Hair Type:

  • Dry hair
  • Medium to coarse hair structures
  • Relaxed, pressed, curly, permed, or color treated hair
  • Frizzy and Dull hair

Expected Result:

  • Softer and shinier hair
  • Enhance hairs strength
  • Reduces breakage

DAX ROOTS Olive Cream is a daily leave-in conditioner and styling cream that revitalizes natural moisture, strength and shine. Olive Cream enhances hair softness and reduces breakage.

Usage Instructions:

  • For use as a leave in conditioner or styling cream: Apply a small amount to hands, rub together and massage through gently towel dried hair. For added shine apply to dry hair. Comb and style as usual. Desired style may vary depending on hair texture.

  • Medium to coarse hair structures

DAX ROOTS Nutra-Blend Hair Oil is a  daily leave-in elixir for dry thirsty hair. Nutra-Blend Hair Oil revitalizes, provides natural moisture, strength, and shine. I personally loved how the Nutra-Blend Hair  Oil left my edges! Silky &  Smooth

Usage Instructions:

  • Style hair as you normally would. Nutra-Blend Hair Oil can be applied to wet hair for more of a wet look or dry hair. Hold bottle 8-10 inches away from hair and lightly spray all over.
