I have been lucky enough to attend Fashion Week for several seasons thanks to celebrity photographer Jennifer Graylock . My first show was Jason Wu’s Fall 2010 Show. Being around in this industry I pretty much know what shows are a GO and which ones are simply a NO! This season I had the opportunity to attend the Michael DePaulo Show presented by Caravan Stylist Studio at The Carlton Hotel. From the moment I walked into the presentation I was impressed, Michael DePaulo’s first NYFW showing was inspired by and designed with current menswear into womenswear movement. This fabulous collection has roots in menswear but was created for women. It was evident that the show was well organized (unlike all the other Lincoln Center shows I covered that day!!). Being in an organized environment was very comforting especially after such a long day! I walked around the venue and enjoyed having conversations with other guests while sipping on cocktails mixed with Lamarca Prosecco and Belvoir. Overall this show was by far one of my favorites, and its quite simple as to why….This collection has LIFE! All of the pieces have details that are unlike anything i,ve seen during Fashion Week, this collection represents individually and creativity and personally if you ask me that’s what you call Fashion!!!!
