Last week I had the opportunity to attend The Function of Beauty pop up shop located on 219 Mulberry Street. Function Of Beauty provides personalized haircare based on your hair type, goals and preferences.You can create your unique formula! Lets just say its like the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory of hair care!
Upon my arrival I was excited but skeptical at the same time. Could it be that there was really a company that could create the perfect combo of shampoo and conditioner? Like every woman in America I felt like I had been sold so much false hope regarding hair care in the past. Since 2010 I have been wearing my hair “natural” in other words I don’t chemically treat my hair.
As soon as I arrived I was greeted by the lovely ladies of Style House PR . I was then instructed to take a hair quiz and to my surprise the quiz was right on point! The quiz consisted of questions regarding my hair and its needs. After my quiz was completed my results were evaluated and then Bam! Like magic the Willy Wonka like machine created my products! I was very impressed! I love the creative control each client is given while creating their products. For once I felt like I had control over my hair. In addition to the quiz you receive customized bottles, with your choice of fragrance and color!
So now it was time to put my products to the test! As soon as I applied this product to my hair there was an instant transformation. My once super tight coarse curls smoothed out instantly!
Washing my hair was an absolute hassle until I came across Function Of Beauty products! These products left my natural curls so so soft! The smell is also amazing!
I truly recommend these products to anyone who has been frustrated with their hair care routine.
