Romance Novelist, Barbara Taylor Bradford’s diamond jewelry were part of the Sparkling sapphires and dazzling diamond rings that dominated the Fine Jewelry sale at Bonhams headquarters in London on December 5th. The sale generate a whopping £5,284,100 (US$8,644,539).
The top lot was a magnificent 14.07 carat diamond single stone ring by David Morris which sold for £446,600 (US$714,400 or $50,700 per carat). The diamond ring was part of the collection of best-selling author, Barbara Taylor Bradford and was given as birthday present to Barbara by husband Robert – “When you wear this, you don’t need any other jewellery,” Robert told her.
