Styleceleb Pet Reviews: Dexter LOVES Snappy Snoozers Pet Beds

dexter

Just like you, your furry little friend needs rest. Your Pet’s quality of sleep is just as important! It can be such a hassle finding the right Bed for your Pet. I can assure those hassles will disappear after your Pet experiences life with a Snappy Snoozer Bed!  We recently had the opportunity to collaborate with Snappy Snoozers . Founded by Roberta K. MacDowel  Snappy Snoozers is a brand that  specializes in quality Inflatable Orthopedic Pet Beds.

What’s in the Bag?

Our Snappy Snoozers Pet Bed arrived in an airtight plastic bag. The bag contained two fleece covers and pump to inflate the Bed. I had never seen anything like this! I was excited about the process of setting up the Bed for Dexter.

The inflatable mattress consists of a quilt that has snaps along the mattress to snap the quilt on and off. This makes the mattress very easy to sanitize as the mattress can be wiped down and a new sheet can be snapped onto the mattress.

Before Dexter’s experience with Snappy Snoozers, I was a bit skeptical. How can a Pet Bed be inflatable? Immediately I began to worry that as Dexter slept the Bed would deflate. My worries only made me more curious to try this product out.

Once I took the mattress out the package it was very Flat. It took about ten minutes to fill  it up. After ten minutes Dexter’s Bed was ready! The firmness of the Bed is amazing! The process of inflating this mattress is quite simple. Which was a relief! Now it was time to put the product to the test. Would Dexter like the bed? Would is deflate on us? Would he be uncomfortable?

Before & After

After the Bed was pumped up it was time to make it fancy! Dexter’s Bed came with 2 Blue Quilts. These Quilts snap to the Bed very easily, it is very easy to remove and put back on.

How to clean your Snappy Snoozer bed

It’s Simple! The covers can go into your washing machine with mild detergent. After you can hang to dry. The mattress can be wiped with a sanitizing wipe. I would use Clorox wipes, but any sanitizing wipe will work.

After testing the product for 48 hours, I must say that everything I was skeptical about was proven wrong! Dexter’s experience with his first ever Snappy Snoozer Pet Bed was amazing!!!!! He slept like a baby and now simply cannot get off the bed! The great thing about these inflatable Pet Beds is that you can control how soft or firm the mattress can be. If your pooch has joint issues then I suggest a more firm approach and its simple with Snappy Snoozers just add more air! This bed is suitable for your Pet’s home and is great for traveling. What I love most about these Pet Beds is that they are not easy to destroy. Dexter’s nails are super sharp and he uses his paws poke at everything! No matter how many times he poked his Snappy Snoozer  Bed it did not destruct!

8 Ways To Save Money On Vet Care

unnamed
Dexter at the Vet for his annual check up!
  1. Get pet insurance
Understand what the coverage you are buying includes — and what it excludes. You can also create your own “insurance plan” by setting up a savings account dedicated to your pet’s medical costs and automatically depositing money monthly. Your Pets health is just as important as yours!
  2. Shop around
If your dog requires a particularly high-cost treatment or procedure, don’t settle with the first quote you get.
  3. Stay on top of preventative care
By taking your dog in regularly for wellness checks, you can catch an issue early — before it develops into a more dangerous (and more expensive) problem. For most dogs, an annual check-up is enough. Having your dog spayed or neutered and keeping your dog up-to-date on vaccinations are both important parts of effective preventative care. I recommend the  Banfield Hospital Wellness Plan.
  4. Try a veterinary college
The students need training, so they often offer basic services at a discount for those in financial need. Services may include check-ups, vaccinations, and basic procedures, such as spaying and neutering.
  5. Contact your local rescue group, ASPCA, or Humane Society
They may offer discounted services as well, or they may be able to direct you to resources in your area.
  6. Reach out to animal welfare charities
There are many organizations, particularly breed-specific groups, that may help pay for emergency veterinary treatments. There are also  other organizations that assist with general vet bills, as well as fund treatment for specific diseases.
  7. Sign up for a plan with your vet
Some veterinarians offer payment plans to help you cover high-cost procedures slowly over time. Others may offer preventative plans that include a number of services, such as office visits, vaccines, diagnostic tests, and even dental cleaning, for a set monthly fee, as well as discounts on all other procedures required. Also find out if your vet accepts a medical-care specific credit card, like CareCredit— which can be used for human medical bills as well. In many cases, your vet can process your application on the spot.
  8. Maintain a healthy lifestyle for your pup
Dogs that are obese or overweight are at a higher risk for many medical issues. You can help prevent these by feeding your dog a healthy diet, avoiding high-fat treats, and providing regular exercise. At the ideal weight, you should be able to see your dog’s waistline from above.

Happy New Year: 6 New Year’s Don’ts For Your Pet

Dexter The Pug (dex2911 IG)

1. Don’t buy junk food treats. Those tiny calorie treats can kill your pet. This year, feed fresh crunchy veggies or treats with simple ingredients such as sweet potatoes.

2. Don’t ignore pet food labels. If you can’t comprehend what’s in your pet’s food, then they should not be eating it. The most important decision you make for your pets each day is what you feed. Choose wisely. Their health depends on it.

3. Don’t make excuses to skip walksYou both need to walk more. Don’t don’t miss your daily walks. You’ll both live longer and be healthier because of it.

4.) Don’t put off your pet’s exam. Learn how to help you pet live an optimal life by working closely with your veterinarian on a regular basis.

5. Don’t forget your dog or cat’s heartworm preventive.  Heartworm Disease is fatal to Dogs and Cats.

6. Don’t forget to hug your pet each day. And be thankful for all you have this year. Take time each day to reflect on one thing you have that you’re grateful for. We are so fortunate to live in this country at this time and to share our days with such wonderful, caring creatures. Happy 2017.

“Don’t assume this is only a cozy, lovely holiday scene You don’t see the dog’s face, but I can tell you he’s tired, tired of the threats posed by the conservative and reactionary winds blowing in our old world. But, like him, during the holiday season, I’m going to look at the fire to replenish my energy and reconnect to the magic of dreams and imagination.” -Artist Ana Juan The New Yorker December 2016 Issue
